- High Energy Linear Accelerator
There are two high-energy Linear Accelerators that effectively treat deep seated tumours using multiple energy X-Ray (6.15 MV), as well as Electron Beam Therapy with multiple energies (4, 6, 9, 12, 16, 20 MeV). The system includes a Multi-Leaf Collimator (MLC) for Conformal Therapy to protect normal tissues surrounding the tumour.
- Simulator CT
This advanced equipment is used for tumour localization under Fluoroscopic control and includes a Computerized Tomography (CT) option for precise accuracy in planning the procedure before radiation therapy is started.
- 3D Planning System (Eclipse)
The 3D Planning System is used for localization of the treatment site after doing a simulation or simulation with CT and MRI. This, along with the two Linear Accelerators, provides for high quality conformal therapy.
- Mold Room
This room contains the most up-to-date system for proper immobilization of the patient during treatment. It also allows for the proper shielding of normal structures surrounding the irradiated lesion.
- Brachytherapy (HDR, LDR)
This is a highly computerized system using radioactive sources for intracavitary and intralumenal radiation therapy.
